Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for MNP's Learning & Development (L&D) function, overseeing the development and execution of the L&D strategy, budget and operating model in partnership with National Human Capital (NHC) leadership, while ensuring alignment with firm priorities, technology enablement, regulatory compliance and financial governance requirements

• Lead the L&D governance framework, ensuring effective decision-making, clear accountability, defined decision rights and alignment with firm priorities

• Manage L&D budget planning, forecasting, reporting and value realization

• Drive team performance through effective coaching, mentoring and development, creating an inclusive and engaging environment

• Own artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled learning design governance and standards, guiding the responsible adoption and scale of AI across learning experiences

• Oversee L&D vendors and partners, including contracts, performance and budget

• Build strategic partnerships internally to identify learning priorities and strengthen firm capability

• Develop learning measurement and impact reporting to demonstrate business value and support firm strategy

• Represent L&D at the senior leadership level, acting as a trusted advisor to National Human Capital (NHC), Regional Human Capital (RHC), service line leadership and firm-wide governance forums

• Drive continuous improvement across L&D operations, portfolio management, content lifecycle governance, learning technology and delivery models

• Strengthen MNP's external L&D reputation through industry engagement, benchmarking and thought leadership

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Adult Learning, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business or a related discipline is an asset

• Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in L&D, Human Capital or Talent Development, including 5+ years leading large teams, enterprise initiatives and senior leaders

• Extensive professional services experience, including partner-led business models, regulated learning requirements and diverse service lines

• Proven leadership of large-scale L&D functions with expertise in learning strategy, measurement, learning technologies and AI-enabled solutions

• Skilled in budget management and external vendor relationships

• Demonstrated success partnering with senior leaders, supported by strong communication, stakeholder management and change leadership skills

• Established experience representing L&D through industry engagement and professional networking

• Ability to build, coach and develop high-performing leadership teams

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with French considered an asset
