About the Role
The Talent function at TAE Power Solutions partners with the business to translate growth priorities into the talent and capabilities required to deliver them. As we scale, we are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Recruiter who can independently lead complex searches, build targeted technical pipelines, and serve as a trusted recruiting partner to our leaders.
The Senior Technical Recruiter will own full-cycle recruiting across Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Commercial, and other priority functions. This role requires a highly proactive recruiter who is comfortable managing multiple high-priority searches, directly sourcing hard-to-find technical talent, and driving searches from intake through offer.
Qualifications, Functional Experience & Skills
Recruiting Execution/ Ownership
• Own end-to-end recruitment processes from intake through offer, across multiple roles and functions.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, team dynamics, and hiring priorities.
• Drive structured interview processes, ensuring alignment, consistency, and timely feedback.
Sourcing & Pipeline Development
• Develop a search strategy for each priority role, including target companies, talent pools, sourcing channels, outreach approach, and anticipated market challenges.
• Identify pipeline gaps and hiring risks early, and proactively adjust sourcing strategy rather than waiting for hiring manager direction.
• Proactively source and engage candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter and other channels.
• Generate the majority of pipeline through outbound passive sourcing
• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Utilize creative sourcing strategies to identify hard-to-find and niche talent.
Candidate Experience
• Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the process.
• Maintain a responsive, professional, high-touch experience at every stage.
• Communicate role expectations, technical scope, culture, and the company's technology story credibly to the TPS audiences.
Process & Systems Management
• Used to maintaining accurate, current candidate data in ATS and other systems
• Uphold process discipline across feedback collection, status tracking, and pipeline hygiene.
• Manage job postings and requisition approvals.
Stakeholder Partnership
• Deliver regular pipeline updates to hiring managers, including funnel metrics, market feedback, and risks to timeline.
• Coach hiring teams on interviewing best practice and structured evaluation.
• Partner with the Director of Talent and wider People team to keep hiring efforts aligned.
Required
• 7+ years' experience recruiting in a highly technical environment, one or more of: energy, energy storage, semiconductor, EV or automotive powertrain industrial automation, Oil & Gas, AI Data Centers, or power electronics.
• Demonstrated outbound sourcing capability using LinkedIn Recruiter and comparable tools.
• Proven ability to carry a high req load and manage multiple senior stakeholders concurrently.
• Hands-on experience with ATS platforms and sourcing tools.
• Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and process discipline.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
• Comfortable engaging candidates and stakeholders at every level, including technical leadership.
Preferred
• Direct experience recruiting in-house for companies operating within energy storage, power electronics, data centre, AI
• Strong Excel or reporting skills
• Experience in high-growth, startup, or scaling manufacturing environments.
The compensation range for this role is between $60-$85/hour, depending on experience.
