Hourly Non-Exempt Position

Key Responsibilities:

• Must safely perform all ongoing operations of the facility utilizing both computerized and manual systems.

• Analyze brine samples

• Must be able to run all assets – includes all surface pumps, pipelines, surface piping, valves, Brine Wells, water wells, filtration equipment, and pipeline to customer.

• Must be able to understand the mechanics of a Brine Well

• Also responsible for monitoring site security and notifying the proper authorities and management when a breech occurs, and are responsible for responding effectively to an emergency, including proper notification and securing equipment.

• Must be able to communicate professionally with others.

• Must be able to clearly and effectively makeshift change with other operators.

• Must be able to follow all Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security Policies.

• Must be able to operate equipment: Telehandler, Tractor, Forklift, etc.

• Must be able to handle the physical rigors of turning valves, lifting heavy objects, weed eating, using a chainsaw, using large pipe wrenches, and other hand tools. Brush hog? Tractor? Weed Eater? Maintain grounds and right of ways?

Qualifications

• Experience – 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing operations.

• Skills – Strong understanding and technical knowledge of packaging equipment, leadership abilities, proficiency in production metrics, quality standards, and food safety requirements.

• Education – An advanced educational degree is preferred, but extensive professional and practical experience is generally accepted.

• High School Diploma or GED

• Must have a VA Energy Surface Foreman open pit certification or have the experience to qualify to enroll in the VA Energy Surface Foreman open pit class. See VA Energy.com for details.
