Wage: $28.50 - $32.91 (Based on Experience/Certifications)
This position reports to the Director of Engineering and may be required to work a flexible schedule based on business needs that include day, evening, and both weekdays and holidays.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Respond to assigned work orders and guest service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and basic repairs as assigned under the direction of Engineering Leadership.
• Inspect assigned building systems, equipment, and guestrooms to identify maintenance deficiencies and report findings to Engineering Leadership.
• Maintain accurate work order documentation, inspection records, and other required maintenance documentation using the Company's work management system.
• Maintain assigned work areas, tools, equipment, and Company property in a clean, organized, and serviceable condition.
• Follow all Company policies, procedures, safety requirements, and lockout/tagout procedures while performing assigned work.
• Maintain productivity throughout the workday by completing assigned work, supporting departmental priorities, and communicating with Engineering Leadership when additional direction or assignments are needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS / CORE COMPETENCIES:
• Demonstrate the ability to safely use common hand tools, basic power tools, ladders, and measuring devices required to perform assigned maintenance tasks.
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of common building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance, sufficient to perform routine maintenance under the direction of Engineering Leadership.
• Demonstrate the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, interpret basic work orders and equipment information, and complete assigned tasks accurately.
• Demonstrate the ability to identify obvious maintenance deficiencies and recognize when additional assistance or supervision is required.
• Demonstrate the ability to perform assigned work safely while following established departmental procedures and safety requirements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-year previous maintenance experience or knowledge in basic repairs.
• Hospitality experience preferred
• City of Seattle Boiler Operator Grade IV License preferred
