Oil States is currently looking for qualified candidates for the position of Field Service Account Manager in Houma, Louisiana.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for generating and maintaining customers through the delivery of service work, repair and refurb, and spare parts to dedicated customers. The Field Service Account Manager will be the direct point of contact for dedicated customer for all customer needs within the Aftermarket department scope.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assumes role as the primary contact between the customer and the facility.

• Develop and implement procedures to ensure revenue profits are maintained in the field service area by promoting beneficial customer relations and ensuring work is performed efficiently and in a cost-effective manner.

• Provide technical assistance by identifying customer needs on service procedures, quotations, parts requirements or substitutions, repair techniques, etc. by interfacing with internal personnel.

• Review and process customer orders received to ensure projected costs, schedules, and specifications are met. Keeps management up to date as needed on all projects.

• Manage customer requests for quotes pertaining to aftermarket parts, projects, service work and/or systems.

• Develop and coordinate schedules and resources on all projects by partnering with appropriate departments such as engineering, operations, purchasing, etc. Maintain and develop status reports and completion schedules on all job scopes to keep all informed.

• Negotiate acquisition cost, establish sales price, and coordinate delivery of parts or equipment based on customer needs or specifications.

• Reviews sales order bill of materials, drawings, or purchase requisitions to determine requirements for parts, materials, or outside services pertaining to a particular assigned project.

• Provide departmental supervisory personnel with detailed and specific information concerning the order requirements, such as completion timetable, cost-v-margin, and other critical information.

• Prepare and/or compile all necessary documentation related to the project to allow shipment tracking and billing by accounting.

• All other duties as assigned by supervisor.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Code jobs and enter into the system.

• Offer technical support to other departments.

• Participate in 7 day after hours call rotation.

• Provide employee feedback and contribute to the personnel evaluation process based on interaction during coordinated jobs.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• College degree in related field or equivalent experience

• Minimum of 7 years prior experience coordinating resources to meet customer needs.

• Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.

• Good mathematical and measurement skills.

• Good working knowledge of computers and software.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

• Ability to follow and relay detailed and complex instructions.

• Prolonged sitting

• Walking, standing, bending, stooping, carrying, and lifting to 45 pounds.
