Essential Duties / Essential Job Functions:
• Functions as general office support in the clinical area and provides good customer service to all customers of ONE Health Systems, Inc.
• Responsible for ensuring that patient referrals and all related paperwork, data and tracking are completed on daily basis.
• Handles all phone calls appropriately in a timely manner.
• Appropriately records phone messages and ensures that the messages are tasked to the correct Provider.
• Responsible for ensuring that all relevant laboratory, testing results, office notes and patient correspondence are forwarded to Referral organization in a timely manner. .
• Assists with monitoring tracking systems to ensure that results are received. IE: Pap, lab and referral.
• Assists front desk with missed appointments that need to be rescheduled and documents in the patients electronic health record.
• Assists other departments such as front desk when needed.

Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Patient check-in/out
• Completing new patient profiles
• Insurance information verification
• Sliding fee scale competency
• Healthcare experience desired
• NextGen experience desired
• CPR or ability to obtain
Physical Requirements
• Sitting in a normal seated position for extended periods of time
• Reaching by extending hand(s) or arm(s) in any direction
• Finger dexterity required to manipulate objects with fingers rather than with whole hand(s) or arm(s), for example, using a keyboard
• Communication skills using the spoken word
• Ability to see within normal parameters and hear within normal range
• Ability to move about
