About this role
Under the direct supervision of the Dish Crew Supervisor or Dish Crew Assistant Supervisor on duty to perform a variety of tasks necessary for efficient and sanitary operation of the dish room and related areas, including the various equipment utilized in the dish room procedures.
Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities:
• To know the proper operation of all dish room equipment.
• To know all the workstations of the dish room crew and be familiar with the responsibilities of each.
• To report any breakage of equipment or maintenance problems to the Dish Crew Supervisor on duty.
• To be aware of good dish washing principles; the dish washing area is to be kept clean, sanitary and orderly during your shift in accordance with Moody Bible Institute Dining Services standards.
• Be familiar with the different types of cleaning agents used in the dish room and the proper usage of each. Know and use the correct quantity.
• At the end of the meal you will be responsible to leave your work area in a condition that meets Moody Bible Institute Dining Services standards for sanitation and orderliness. When you have your area ready, notify the Dish Crew Supervisor on duty that you are ready to be checked out. Go over your work station with the supervisor. Your work is done when your work area has been checked by the supervisor.

Applicants must be a full-time, on campus student at MBI or MTS.
