About this role

We are currently looking for a Peer Advocate intern for the Fall 2026 Semester!

Want to know more? Let's talk about the technicalities! Direct experience opportunities may include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting the peer in the provision of services to patients during the course of treatment. • Assisting in the treatment of patients through collaboration during case conference • Assisting in coordination of care. • Drafting progress notes • Assisting with status updates, court reports, and the submission of the Department of Social Services reports. • Observing transfer requests and psychiatric referrals. • Performing filing and other administrative duties.

Eligibility Requirements:

Current enrollment in a CRPA or MH peer certification is required

This internship will be located in Buffalo, NY. Specifically, it will be located at one of the below locations:

• 3020 Bailey Ave, Buffalo NY

• 699 Hertel Ave, Buffalo NY

• 77 Broadway, Buffalo NY

Schedule Information:

Our internship supervisors strive to offer flexible schedules; however, placements are currently available Monday through Friday. During the application, you'll be asked to provide your full availability so we can make the best possible match.

Internship Timeline:

• This internship is for the Fall 2026 semester. Start date will be discussed throughout the interview process and is contingent on a successful completion of all onboarding requirements.
