Education Qualifications and Ability Qualifications
• Graduate of an approved Pharmacy Technician Program • If registered and not yet certified, certifications must be obtained within 6 months of hire. • Must have basic typing skills and a working knowledge of computers and equipment utilized in the preparation, repackaging, dispensing and distribution of pharmaceutical products.
License/Certification Requirements
• Registered as a Pharmacy Technician through SC Board of Pharmacy by (submitting documentation for their required number of work experience hours as a pharmacy technician or having met requirements to be grandfathered in by 2004) Required • Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) and Registered as a ‘State Certified Pharmacy Technician' with the SC Board of Pharmacy in good standing Preferred
