Full Time, 1st Shift, 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday
Performs work in the clinical and administrative areas of the practice as needed. Completes initial patient clinical assessment, documenting in the patient chart according to the description below. Assist providers by working within their scope of competence to fill in medications, place orders, complete in-basket tasks, return patient phone calls and other duties assigned.
Job Qualifications: • High School Graduate or GED required • Post high school/medical studies with certifications as Medical Assistant (AAMA), or Registered Medical Assistant (AMT), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMMA) required • Must obtain certification within 3 months of hire required • Must hold and maintain active certification or registry in medical assisting required
