Purpose of Role

Responsible for providing support to the IAM team in the operations and administration of Finance of America's Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems. Assists in maintaining application, database, server and network access. Troubleshoots access requests in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations

• Assists the IAM team with the provisioning and deprovisioning of access to applications, infrastructure and operating systems in adherence with established IAM policies and procedures.

• Performs New-Hire Onboarding, Employee Offboarding, Department Transfers, access remediation, and privileged access requests.

• Assists with updating and resolving tickets with timely settlement of assigned user requests and issues as defined by Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

• Assists the compliance team with conducting regular user access reviews focused on Identity Governance and Administration to help support compliance and policy requirements.

• Assists the senior IAM analysts with identifying potential challenges in the IAM processes and procedures.

• Adheres to the established IAM policies and procedures established by senior management.

• Conducts technical troubleshooting related to identity governance and administration.

• Assists with the documentation of configuration details and workflow to ensure effective troubleshooting and recovery.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications - Experience/Skills/Competencies

• Minimum 2 years of related experience with provisioning and deprovisioning systems.

• Knowledge of technologies underpinning the lending process.

• Ability to stay abreast of rapidly changing technologies and ideas across the lending space.

• Familiarity in Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and access management technologies.

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration.

• Exposure to identity management, cybersecurity, or access management concepts.

• Experience with technology across and financial services industry vertically preferred.

• Familiarity with lending and technology industry trends and strategic direction.

• Experience managing user access with operating systems.

• Understanding security models including identities, roles and permissions.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Analytical end-to-end thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Bachelor's degree

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is ($50,000 - $60,000) inclusive of all geographical differences in the labor market. The base salary for the position will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's work location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members in determining any final offer.
