Position Summary:

Cardinal Glass Industries is seeking a Quality/ Production Representative to serve as an on-site quality/ production liaison at the Renewal by Andersen facility in Locust Grove, Georgia. This position will represent Cardinal Glass and act as the primary point of contact for quality and production-related concerns involving Cardinal products processed or received at the Renewal by Andersen location.

The successful candidate will work closely with both Cardinal and Renewal by Andersen personnel to identify, investigate, communicate, and help resolve quality issues while maintaining strong customer relationships and supporting continuous improvement efforts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as Cardinal Glass's on-site quality/production representative at the Renewal by Andersen facility.

• Investigate and document quality/ production concerns related to Cardinal glass products.

• Occasionally (1 week per month) travel to and from Ocala to discuss and address issues found at Locust Grove with the Ocala IG team.

• Communicate quality and production issues, trends, and corrective actions between Renewal by Andersen and Cardinal operations.

• Perform inspections and evaluations of glass products as needed.

• Assist in identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.

• Coordinate containment activities when quality or production concerns arise.

• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation of quality incidents.

• Participate in customer meetings and quality reviews as required.

• Monitor product performance and provide feedback to Cardinal manufacturing teams.

• Work collaboratively with production, quality, logistics, and customer service personnel to ensure timely resolution of issues.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects and improving customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Associate degree or technical education preferred.

• Previous quality assurance, manufacturing, glass industry, or inspection experience preferred.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes is preferred.

• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with customers and internal teams.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and inspect products throughout the workday.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
