SUMMARY:
The Armstrong Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Executive Vice President of Business Development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in developing and implementing business development strategies that drive revenue growth. This individual will play a key role in expanding our market share and establishing strategic partnerships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the company's overall growth objectives.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, market research, and lead generation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
• Negotiate and close contracts that are mutually beneficial for the company and its clients.
• Manage a team of business development professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve targets.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
• Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, preferably in the relocation industry.
• Proven track record of success in generating new business and exceeding revenue targets.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and NetSuite CRM software.
