SUMMARY OBJECTIVE:
Assists the Financial Advisors and VP/Program Manager & Financial Advisor in their day-to-day duties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Establish appointments with existing clients and potential new clients for business development.
2. Schedule and prepare for all client reviews which include financial planning.
3. Schedule and prepare for new client meetings by obtaining financial information for the Financial Advisors.
4. Assist with onboarding new clients, ensuring that necessary documents have been completed accurately by the client.
5. Update and maintain the electronic software with meeting notes, client calls, and all activity pertaining to clients.
6. Maintain client tasks in a CRM system and update account information when necessary.
7. Assist the Financial Advisors in the preparation of marketing materials.
8. Maintain a good working relationship with the branch network, and other areas of the bank, to allow for the continuous referring of leads.
9. Ensure that licensing, registrations, and continued education is up to date for the Financial Advisors.
10. Input trade requests as directed by the Financial Advisors for brokerage/advisory accounts.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position requires no supervision of employees.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The employee is frequently required to: 1) Type or otherwise work with fingers; 2) Talk expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers or clients accurately, loudly, or quickly; 3) Hearing, perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with/without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and make the discriminations in sound; 4) Specific vision abilities required by this job include viewing a computer monitor, extensive reading, along with travel as required. Sedentary work with some walking and standing; may require occasionally lifting of up to 10 pounds and/or move up to 25 pounds.

REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
Post high school education certificate or diploma program in a business, administrative assistant or related field required; an Associate’s Degree in business, administrative assistant or related field preferred. (1) one year of financial industry experience required.
