About the Role We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our team supporting quality assurance for POE (Point of Effectiveness) components within the automotive industry. This role is critical to validating industrial processes at supplier sites, spanning both new technology development and the reinforcement of process robustness in serial production through corrective and preventive quality actions. The successful candidate will monitor and audit suppliers across Asia (India and China), with a specific focus on the "loose parts" perimeter — mechanical components assembled at Renault Group vehicle facilities. Horse Group delegates quality assurance and process piloting responsibilities for this scope, making this a high-visibility role with direct accountability to senior stakeholders. Key Responsibilities • Conduct system, process, and 8D audits at supplier facilities • Perform process analysis and validation using recognized quality methodologies (4M, Ishikawa/Fishbone, 5 Why, ISO standards, 5 Trees, FMEA, R-FMEA, control plans, process capability studies) • Apply technical knowledge of electronics, power electronics, and battery technologies during audits and assessments • Ability to read blueprints • Monitor and drive process robustness improvements in serial production • Synthesize audit findings and present recommendations to the Management Committee as subject-matter lead • Travel to supplier sites and Horse/Renault centers as required

Work Experience Required Qualifications • Education: Technical Engineering degree (minimum), with a foundation in electronics, power electronics, and battery systems • Experience: Proven background in supplier audits, quality engineering, and knowledge of casting and electronic documentation preferred • Technical Skills: Strong command of automotive manufacturing, design, and validation processes; proficiency in Microsoft Office • Language Skills: Fluent English with strong negotiation capabilities • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical information for senior leadership
