JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Hours: Monday-Friday 6a-2:30p
• Prepare sandwiches, wraps, flatbreads, soup and other deli items according to established recipes and customer requests
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service while assisting guests with menu selections
• Stock and replenish deli ingredients, food products, condiments, and supplies throughout the shift
• Monitor product freshness, rotate inventory using FIFO practices, and remove expired items
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of preparation areas, equipment, display cases, and service counters
• Ensure food is prepared, stored, and served in accordance with food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards
• Assist with food display setup and merchandising to maintain an attractive and well-stocked deli area
• Cashier, food preparation, and/or other café operations during peak service periods
• Perform other duties as assigned to support department operations
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift, carry, and stock food products and supplies
• Ability to bend, reach, push, and pull carts or equipment as needed
• Ability to safely use food preparation equipment and tools
• Ability to work in a busy retail food service environment
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
• No directly related experience
Preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in food service, deli, restaurant, retail, or customer service settings
