We're currently seeking Chef Managers to join our regional Queensland operations. Working in a busy village environment, you'll provide quality meals that help keep our mining communities running safely and efficiently.
The Role
Lead a high-performing kitchen team in a bulk catering environmentOversee meal production across breakfast, crib and dinner servicesManage food safety, HACCP and quality standardsMonitor kitchen budgets, food costs and operational performanceDevelop and mentor team membersBuild strong client and stakeholder relationshipsThese are FIFO/BIBO roles from Brisbane on a 14:7 roster, working 11-hour days. Casual opportunities are available with the potential for permanent placement for high-performing employees.
About You
Certificate III or IV in Commercial CookeryExperience in bulk catering or high-volume kitchensFIFO, DIDO or remote site experience desirable but not essentialStrong food safety and hygiene knowledgeAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamAble to work in remote environments and varying weather conditionsAbility to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testFull Australian working rightsWhy Join Sodexo?
