Salary: £35,000 - 40,000 per year
Requirements: Proven experience as an on-site IT Manager or Senior ConsultantStrong Microsoft infrastructure knowledge, including M365, Azure, Active Directory and Windows environmentsExperience with virtualisation such as Hyper-V or VMwareGood networking knowledge, including firewalls, VPNs and VLANsExperience across backup/DR and hosted Exchange environmentsStrong project management and stakeholder communication skillsA consultative approach, with the ability to translate technical issues into business-focused recommendationsA full UK driving licenceAt least one relevant Microsoft Associate-level certification, such as AZ-104, AZ-500, AZ-700, AZ-140 or SC-300 Responsibilities: Work on-site with a key client 4–5 days per weekAct as the consultative IT Manager / Engineer for the clientReview and improve cloud, hybrid and on-premises IT environmentsIdentify technical debt and recommend improvementsDeliver infrastructure projects and implement changeSupport IT strategy, roadmaps and continuous improvementWork closely with senior client stakeholders and technology teamsTake ownership of issues and drive them through to resolution Technologies: Active DirectoryAzureCloudHyper-VSupportVMwareWindowsDevOps More:
We are offering an IT Consultant role based in Glasgow, working on-site 4–5 days per week with 1 day working from home. This is a long-term client engagement where you can own the client relationship, influence technology strategy and make a tangible difference. The role offers a salary of up to £40,000 plus a car allowance.
