Salary: £65,000 - 80,000 per year
Requirements: We are looking for an experienced Product Manager or Product Owner.We need someone with a background in Defence, Government or National Security environments.Experience in interoperability, systems integration or secure information exchange would be highly beneficial.You should be able to understand and navigate sophisticated technology environments.You should bring strong technical understanding, commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills.You should be comfortable discussing requirements with Technical Architects, challenging priorities with engineering teams, presenting product propositions to customers and providing updates to senior leadership.You should be confident, credible and collaborative, with the ability to build strong relationships across technical, commercial and customer-facing teams.You should enjoy taking ownership of complex problems and turning customer needs into products and services that deliver genuine value. Responsibilities: We work directly with customers and internal stakeholders to understand their needs, why they need them and when they need them.We translate high-level requirements into clear product goals, detailed requirements and prioritised backlogs.We work closely with Technical Architects and Delivery Managers across multiple programmes to help teams understand priorities and keep progress visible.We ensure development remains aligned with customer expectations, delivery plans and wider portfolio objectives.We take ownership of product releases from planning through to completion.We define release requirements, coordinate documentation and implementation, support deployment and formally accept completed releases.We help refine the wider interoperability strategy.We manage product and service lifecycles.We develop value propositions and ensure the portfolio evolves in response to customer needs and market changes.We present products and services to customers, explain their benefits and use cases, gather feedback and use that insight to influence the product roadmap and backlog.We work closely with Marketing to bring products and capabilities to market, contributing to product collateral, campaigns, use cases and communications.We monitor competitors, technologies, partners and suppliers to identify market developments and opportunities.We facilitate estimates with engineering and ensure technical effort, budgets and timescales are understood when prioritising the backlog.
