Salary: £48,000 - 48,000 per year
Requirements: 5+ years of dedicated digital accessibility testing experience.Deep, practical understanding of WCAG guidelines, WAI-ARIA standards, and UK/EU accessibility regulations.Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript to analyse code-level accessibility failures.Experience working alongside users with disabilities or conducting user-centric accessibility feedback sessions.Knowledge of Ofcom accessibility requirements for broadcast/VoD services.Experience testing on Smart TVs such as Samsung Tizen, LG WebOS, Roku, and Fire TV. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive manual and automated testing of web, mobile (iOS/Android), and Connected TV apps against WCAG 2.2 AA standards.Perform hands-on testing using screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack) and keyboard-only navigation.Log, track, and retest accessibility bugs in JIRA, providing clear, actionable remediation guidance to software engineers and UI/UX designers.Integrate automated accessibility tools such as Axe, WAVE, and Lighthouse into CI/CD pipelines to catch early-stage issues.Act as a subject matter expert, training product owners, developers, and designers on inclusive design best practices.Champion inclusive design and help embed accessibility early in the software development life cycle within agile pods.
