About the roleAs the Partnerships Manager, you will play a central role in driving Storytel’s growth through intake partnerships — with a dual responsibility:
Leading and developing the global intake partnerships team, and
Directly owning and accelerating the Swedish market’s partnership performance.
You’ll work closely with the Director of Global Partnerships and the Swedish Country Manager to set priorities, remove blockers, coach the team, and deliver strong commercial results. You will also collaborate daily with internal stakeholders and external partners, shaping how Storytel scales impact across markets.
Your main responsibilities include:
Leading, coaching, and developing the intake partnerships team across multiple markets.
Owning the Swedish market’s intake pipeline, performance, and commercial delivery.
Identifying, negotiating, and closing CPA-based and affiliate partnerships that generate high-quality leads.
Managing and nurturing strong partner relationships, ensuring consistent performance and long-term growth.
Monitoring industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to guide team strategy and identify new opportunities.
Analyzing partner performance using Looker, MS Office, and internal dashboards to optimize campaigns and maximize ROI.
Assessing and negotiating commercial terms with a strong focus on profitability and strategic alignment.
Working closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, analytics, and finance to ensure smooth execution of partnership initiatives.
About the teamThe Partnerships team is a global function with a mission to accelerate Storytel’s growth through high-impact distribution and intake partnerships. You’ll work with colleagues across several markets as well as key stakeholders at Storytel’s headquarters at Riddarholmen in Stockholm offering broad exposure to global strategy, senior leadership, and cross-market initiatives.
About youTo succeed in this role, you bring several years of experience in partnerships, sales, or business development in Sweden, ideally within streaming, digital content, or other subscription-based industries.
We believe you also bring:
Strong experience in CPA-based and affiliate partnership acquisition and lead generation.
Proven success managing commercial pipelines and closing performance-driven deals.
Experience leading or mentoring a team, with a passion for developing talent.
Strong analytical capabilities and comfort with tools like Looker, Excel, and data visualization platforms.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
High drive, ownership, and a target-oriented approach to solving problems and delivering results.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Professional proficiency in Swedish and English.
