About this role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join us for an assignment with one of our clients in Kalundborg. You will lead the client-side delivery of civil works packages covering infrastructure, landscaping, roads, and perimeter and gate solutions. Acting as both client representative and Work Package Owner, you will take ownership of scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, interfaces, and delivery readiness from planning and design through procurement, construction, and handover. You will work closely with the client to strengthen delivery, close gaps across stakeholders and interfaces, and support timely decisions. You will also be the primary point of contact for Corporate Facilities (CFa), ensuring that project solutions align with future operational requirements and facility ownership. Main tasks Work package ownership: Define, structure, and deliver assigned civil works packages within approved scope, budget, schedule, quality, and governance requirements. Integrated planning: Maintain an executable plan covering design, procurement, permitting, construction, site access, sequencing, and handover dependencies. Stakeholder management: Align stakeholders with different priorities and translate issues into clear options, consequences, and decision requests. Interface management: Resolve physical, technical, organisational, and contractual interfaces across roads, utilities, landscaping, security, perimeter works, and adjacent projects. Handover and operational readiness: Lead the dialogue with CFa and facilitate design reviews, operational alignment, and a structured handover to the owner organisation. Delivery partnership: Work constructively with NNE, reinforce their delivery ownership, remove obstacles, clarify expectations, and help secure timely decisions. Risk, safety, and quality: Maintain oversight of risks, assumptions, permits, and dependencies while promoting safe, compliant, and robust execution. Governance and reporting: Provide concise status reporting on progress, forecasts, risks, interfaces, decisions, and recovery actions, escalating critical matters early. Your profile You are a structured and decisive project leader who creates clarity in complex situations. You take ownership, communicate with confidence, and handle constructive conflict professionally. You are comfortable balancing competing priorities while maintaining sound judgement, personal integrity, and a visible commitment to safety and delivery. You work proactively across technical, organisational, and contractual boundaries. Just as importantly, you build productive relationships with engineering partners, contractors, authorities, and internal stakeholders without duplicating their responsibilities. Education A relevant professional or academic background is expected, for example within: Civil engineering or construction Architecture with relevant infrastructure or construction experience Project management in a technical or construction environment A different educational background may also be relevant when supported by substantial experience from comparable civil works or large CAPEX projects. Experience We expect that you have: Extensive project management experience from civil works, infrastructure, or large CAPEX projects Proven owner- or client-side experience as a client representative or Work Package Owner Strong experience with planning, risk management, interface management, contractor coordination, and project controls Experience guiding packages through design, procurement, permitting, construction, and handover The ability to engage effectively with stakeholders such as project leaders, work package owners, engineering partners, HSE and Quality, contractors, suppliers, municipalities, and relevant stakeholders Competences To succeed in this role, it is important that you: Turn complex project information into clear priorities, decisions, and actions Plan and coordinate across multiple technical and organisational interfaces Communicate concisely and influence stakeholders at different levels Identify delivery risks and gaps early and follow through until they are resolved Balance schedule, cost, quality, safety, and operational requirements Work independently while contributing to a constructive, accountable project culture We offer HH Consult offers a substantial project assignment where you can apply your civil works and project leadership experience in a role with broad client-side responsibility.
