Position: Senior Engineer Advanced Flight Management System (FMS) Aerospace
Job Description: Role Summary: We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Advanced Flight Management System (FMS) team. The ideal candidate will have strong avionics software development experience, mandatory hands-on experience in Flight Management Systems, and expertise in developing safety-critical software in a DevOps environment. The role requires ownership of product quality, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and a mindset focused on delivering optimized and efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities: • DO178 Level A verification experience • Very good knowledge on C++. • Display products experience will be plus • Design, develop, integrate, and verify safety-critical FMS software. • Work in a DevOps environment, contributing to CI/CD and continuous improvement. • Own product quality and ensure compliance with DO-178B/C standards. • Collaborate with Systems, Certification, and other cross-functional teams. • Works on software design, coding, integration, and verification • Drive software optimization, automation, and engineering best practices. • Mentor team members and contribute to technical excellence.
Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in aerospace, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline. • 3 to 10 years of experience in avionics software development. • Mandatory experience in Flight Management System (FMS) software development. User Interface skills are recommended • Strong knowledge of DO-178B/C and software design, development, integration, and verification. • Experience working in a DevOps environment with CI/CD practices. • Strong programming skills in C/C++, scripting languages, and embedded real-time software development. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
