About this role

Job summary

Permanent | Part Time 20 Hours per week

Are you passionate about providing excellent customer service and making a difference in a healthcare setting? Join our dedicated catering team where you'll help create a welcoming environment for patients, families, staff, and visitors.

As a Catering Assistant, you'll support the preparation, presentation, and service of food and beverages across our catering outlets. You'll help maintain our standards of hygiene and customer care, ensuring every visitor receives a warm and comforting experience.

About You:

You have experience in customer service or food preparation in a retail catering environment

You're compassionate, organised and a team player

You hold a Level 2 qualification in Maths and English or equivalent experience

A food hygiene certificate is desirable (or willingness to complete during induction)

Main duties of the job

Reporting into the Hotel Services Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Prepare and serve food and drinks to a high standard.

Maintain cleanliness in food prep and retail areas, including dishwashing and equipment storage.

Monitor and record food storage temperatures and stock levels.

Follow COSHH regulations and food hygiene standards, and support infection control procedures

Qualifications & Training Essential

Level 2 (GCSE or Functional Skills) qualification in Maths and English or equivalent experience Food hygiene certificate or to be completed during induction
