Job summary
A post has become available for a Business Administration Coordinator within the Forensic Management Business Admin Team. The position will be based at the Trevor Gibbens Unit in Maidstone, which specialises in the assessment and treatment of mentally disordered offenders.
We are looking for someone who is dynamic, proactive and forward thinking, and the successful candidate will provide secretarial and administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team in the Forensic and Specialist Directorate.The post holder will be educated to NVQ/RSA Level 3, or equivalent, and have GCSE English and Maths.
The hours are 37.5 per week, working Monday to Friday 9.00-5.00, and the post is office based.
There are regular meetings at different locations across the trust sites. Therefore, the post holder must hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car/vehicle to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
Main duties of the job
It is desirable that the candidate has experience of working in an Adult Mental Health setting but must have the following:
Excellent minute taking, secretarial, organisational and data entry skills. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Be able to gather, analyse, interpret and present extensive and/or complex data and information. Manage the provision of information on service activity for KPIs and Trust targets. Work to tight deadlines, in changing and challenging situations, whilst maintaining attention to detail. Experienced events coordinator. Liaise and work with internal and external colleagues.
