WELCOMING YOU TO THE TEAM We are looking for a President Director – Nexans Indonesia (job title can be adapted internally) to lead our Indonesian subsidiary. You will be the legal representative and country leader of Nexans Indonesia, responsible for ensuring that the company is managed in accordance with Indonesian corporate governance requirements, Nexans Group policies and the objectives defined by the Nexans Power Transmission Business Group. You will: Report to the leadership of the Nexans Power Transmission Business Group. Work closely with local Board members, Group functions and Indonesian stakeholders. Lead the Indonesian team, driving operational excellence, compliance, organizational development and stakeholder confidence. HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT As President Director, you will be accountable for the overall leadership, direction and performance of Nexans Indonesia. You will deliver operational excellence and organizational development while ensuring full compliance with local regulations and Nexans Group standards. Your key responsibilities include: Financial & Corporate Performance Hold full responsibility for the company P&L, balance sheet performance, cash flow and overall financial health. Develop annual budgets, forecasts and performance plans aligned with Nexans Power Transmission Business Group strategy. Ensure robust financial discipline, business accountability and transparent reporting. Operations & Operational Excellence Ensure safe, reliable and efficient business operations across all activities in Indonesia. Drive productivity, quality, safety and customer satisfaction while maintaining competitive costs. Promote continuous improvement in processes, systems and ways of working. Corporate Governance & Compliance Act as the legal representative of Nexans Indonesia, ensuring compliance with Indonesian laws and regulations. Ensure adherence to Nexans Group governance, ethics, compliance, internal controls and reporting requirements. Maintain effective risk management, internal control and business continuity practices. People Leadership & Organization Development Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement. Lead and develop the Indonesian team, ensuring effective succession planning and talent development. Foster high employee engagement and a safe, inclusive working environment. Stakeholder Management Represent Nexans Indonesia with shareholders, government agencies, regulatory authorities, business partners and industry organizations. Build trusted relationships with customers and external stakeholders to strengthen Nexans’ reputation and business position. Promote and protect Nexans’ values and interests in Indonesia. YOUR STARTING POINT The best candidates may not meet every requirement, but the following background will help you succeed: Proven experience in general management roles, ideally leading a service or industrial business. Demonstrated P&L responsibility and strong knowledge of financial management and business accountability. Solid understanding of corporate governance , legal, regulatory, compliance and risk management frameworks. Excellent people leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams. Experience working in multicultural organizations , with the ability to collaborate across countries and functions. Fluent in English, both written and spoken; Bahasa Indonesia is a strong advantage.
