Competitive hourly wage of $24.53 + comprehensive benefits We will invest in you, covering the costs of continuing education through GardaWorld Academy Flexible schedules with various shifts available Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld Casual opportunities Uniform provided at no cost Responsibilities of a Casual Transport Guard Ensure the protection of individuals, property, and assets within the facility Escort detainees within the premises using restraints as necessary for safety Demonstrate empathy and compassion while working with individuals under stress Observe and monitor detainee behaviour and report concerns Conduct regular foot patrols – both indoors and outdoors Utilize security software and equipment effectively Conduct frequent wellness checks Generate accurate incident and daily reports Respond swiftly to emergency situations using tactical de-escalation techniques Qualifications for Casual Transport Guard Valid Alberta Security Guard License Valid First Aid Level 1 is required. Must have resided in Canada for the past 5 years- needed for reliability clearances Must be able to drive compnay vehicle for long hours. Have Clean driver's Abstract. Minimum High school diploma or equivalent (proof of education required) Able to pass Public Works Clearance and Vulnerable Sector Check Demonstrated ability to act decisively in high-pressure situations Strong communication and customer service skills Not the job for you?
