Job Summary Join our team as a Production Welder, where your skills will contribute directly to the manufacturing and assembly of high-quality metal products. In this full-time role, you will collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure efficient and precise welding operations, supporting the overall production process. Primary Duties Perform welding tasks on a variety of metal components according to product specifications and blueprints, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. Operate welding equipment including MIG, TIG, and arc welding machines with proficiency and attention to detail. Inspect welds for defects and perform necessary corrections to maintain the integrity and durability of finished products. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and workflow efficiency. Collaborate closely with production team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets and deadlines. Adhere to company safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times while working. Participate in regular training sessions to stay current with welding techniques and industry best practices. Qualifications Proven experience in welding within a production or manufacturing environment is highly valued. Strong competency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols. Proficient in operating various welding equipment such as MIG, TIG, and stick welders. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining individual accountability for quality and deadlines. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity to execute precision welds. Commitment to following safety guidelines and maintaining a safe work environment. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors. Education / Experience High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Prior experience in production welding or a related field is required, with certifications such as AWS Welding Certification considered an asset. On-the-job training will be provided to foster skill development and mastery of company-specific processes.
