Find out more about us on https://ams-osram.com Your new responsibilities Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of MES and MES extended solutions supporting manufacturing process and operation automation (Industry 4.0). Define system architecture, integration patterns, and technical standards for MES-related solutions across the shopfloor landscape. Ensure solutions align with manufacturing, quality, and IT enterprise standards. Own and approve system design and functional specifications, ensuring clarity, completeness, and alignment with business requirements. Act as the primary technical liaison with development centers, governing solution realization, design adherence, and quality outcomes. Lead and govern shopfloor modeling, routing design, and MES master data strategy. Establish best practices, data standards, and governance models to ensure data integrity and scalability. Provide expert-level technical support for complex MES issues. Engage with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Business IT) and external partners to resolve high-impact production challenges. Lead and oversee IT Acceptance Testing (ITAT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for MES/MES extended solutions. Oversee the development of training materials and deliver advanced training sessions to business users and support teams. Mentor junior engineers and act as a technical reference within the MES domain. Define and govern system monitoring, preventive maintenance, and high-availability strategies. Ensure minimal production disruption and rapid recovery from incidents. Manage NPI (New Product Introduction) and MES/shopfloor improvement projects, ensuring on-time delivery and quality within budget. Accountable for 24x7 production support readiness for MES/MES extended solutions, including escalation handling and root cause analysis. What we look for Master Degree/Bachelor's Degree/Professional Degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering or equivalent. Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in software development or system analysis, with a focus on shopfloor modeling and manufacturing systems. Know-how on Change Management Process, Incident Management Process, Demand Management process, System Development Life Cycle. 1-2 years management experience on junior engineers, provide guidance, support and mentorship. Strong knowledge of MES software & experience with ERP systems and their integration with MES. Experienced in VB/C# .NET programming, SQL, Oracle database and store procedure, Tibco, web service, Window IIS setup. Experienced in Incident/Service Management, Release Management and Project Management Agile methodology and SCRUM knowledge are added advantages.
