Learn from deep subject matter experts through mentoring and on the job coaching Summary This Senior Consultant role is designed for a high performing strategist who thrives in fast paced, ambiguous environments and is energized by solving complex business problems. Offered as a 1 year fixed term contract , the role embeds you directly within a client engagement in the Cloud Marketing space, where you will operate with the independence, executive presence, and structured thinking of a seasoned consultant. You will partner closely with senior stakeholders to shape strategy, translate complex analyses into clear recommendations, and drive alignment across cross functional teams. This role is best suited for someone who thrives in ambiguity, brings a strong consulting toolkit, and is equally comfortable framing strategic questions and diving into data to inform decisions. Please Note: This position is expected to operate primarily within Pacific Standard Time (PST) working hours. What will your typical day look like? Serve as a trusted advisor to Director- and Vice President-level stakeholders, helping evaluate strategic options, assess tradeoffs, and make informed decisions. Structure complex business challenges into clear hypotheses, research plans, and actionable recommendations using consulting-based problem-solving approaches. Lead annual marketing strategy development by synthesizing performance data, market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer insights. Conduct market, competitor, and business research to inform strategic recommendations and executive decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across marketing, go-to-market, product, finance, and research functions to align priorities and drive business outcomes. Translate complex analyses and data-driven insights into concise, executive-ready narratives and recommendations. Create executive presentations, strategy briefs, and leadership communications with clear storytelling, visual clarity, and logical structure. Leverage AI, generative AI, and automation tools to enhance strategic planning, research, content development, and analytical workflows. You will join a high performing Deloitte team operating alongside senior client leadership, trusted as an integrated member of the client's strategy function, not an arm's length advisor. You will also be part of building something new: a strategy and operations capability being stood up from the ground floor, which means your contributions will have direct, visible impact from day one. Enough about us, let’s talk about you Required Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or strategy and operations roles, including at least 1 year in a client-facing consulting or advisory environment. Demonstrated ability to solve complex business problems, develop hypotheses, and deliver strategic recommendations. Strong executive communication and storytelling skills, with experience creating presentations and decision-ready materials for senior leaders. Proven ability to synthesize quantitative data, qualitative insights, and market context into actionable recommendations. Strong analytical and data skills, including proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets and working knowledge of SQL. Ability to operate independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while managing multiple stakeholders and priorities. Experience building relationships, influencing stakeholders, and driving alignment across cross-functional teams. Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in technology, cloud, enterprise software, or large-scale marketing organizations. Proficiency with Google Workspace and business productivity tools. Experience with data visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or similar tools. Experience supporting business planning, budgeting, strategic prioritization, and governance processes. Knowledge of AI, generative AI, and digital transformation strategies and use cases. MBA or other relevant advanced degree is an asset. Total Rewards The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $138,000 and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
