Job Overview Reporting to the Sr. Director, Operations Strategy, the Sr. Manager, Operations Strategy role serves to enable strategic imperatives for the AD&M Operations Team, driving assessments of strategic trade-offs, building implementation plans, and driving execution with operations management and functional teams. This role will serve as a key connection between commercial and product management strategic priorities, and operational capabilities and enablement. Job Requirements Strategic Assessments Understand business, commercial, and product management strategies and translate them into operational requirements for execution Serve as a thought partner to Ops Leaders shaping priorities for strategy enablement Conduct quantitative and qualitative assessments of strategic project proposals including: footprint, make vs. buy, capacity investments, etc. Make vs. Buy Council Leader Own development and deployment of a revised standard for Make vs. buy decision making process and integration with existing NPD and change processes Coordinate with finance for an integrated and aligned MvB financial assessment tool Chair and lead the new MvB council, coordinating between operations, manufacturing engineering, and procurement teams to capture inputs required for MvB decision making Escalate MvB decision making as required Standardized Manufacturing Footprint Assessment Develop a standard process for assessing footprint opportunities including quantitative and qualitative factors Develop a standard financial assessment framework in coordination with finance and operations teams Determine data sources for operational assessments and standard frameworks for one-time-cost evaluations Deploy standard on upcoming and inflight footprint projects M&A Operational Due Diligence ( when required) As the business considers potential M&A targets – assess operational synergies and fit with AD&M’s network and structure Determine overlap in operational capabilities and opportunities for consolidation Assess mutual gap closure of operational capabilities Determine and compute manufacturing, indirect, inventory, and procurement synergies between AD&M and potential targets Cross-Functional Integration Partner across functions to remove barriers and drive alignment Act as connector across global sites and functions Influence without authority to maintain momentum What your background should look like 8–12+ years in operations, project management, manufacturing engineering, strategic sourcing, or related roles This role requires a minimum of a Bachelors degree in an appropriate field 10-25% domestic and international travel Experience leading strategic projects from assessment through execution Experience translating business strategies into operational requirements Strong financial literacy and competency in analyzing large operational data sets Comfort with a wide range of data systems and analysis tools Exceptional executive communication skills Competencies SET : Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers) ABOUT TE CONNECTIVITY TE Connectivity plc (NYSE: TEL) is a global industrial technology leader creating a safer, sustainable, productive, and connected future. COMPENSATION • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $171,400 - $257,100 (subject to change dependent on physical location) • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith.
