Could you be the full-time Project Manager in Kochi we’re looking for? Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your project management expertise in a dynamic and innovative field. You’ll work alongside a collaborative, proactive, and results-oriented team of professionals. You'll play a pivotal role in driving the successful execution of projects with low criticality, ensuring that contractual requirements and customer expectations are met. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams across the business (such as engineering, procurement, and operations), manage project performance, and foster strong relationships with customers and stakeholders. You’ll specifically take care of defining project strategies and ensuring compliance with Alstom’s project management processes, but also lead and coordinate project activities from transfer to close-out phases. We’ll look to you for: Owning the Project Management Work Package (WP) and being accountable for Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Planning (QCDP) performance. Optimizing project financial performance, with a focus on margin and cash. Defining project objectives and allocating resources to achieve customer satisfaction. Leading and coordinating project teams, including internal and external stakeholders. Ensuring alignment with contractual requirements and managing variation orders. Proactively managing risks, savings, and opportunities to drive project success. Reporting project progress and KPIs to senior management with transparency. Maintaining compliance with Alstom’s Code of Ethics, EHS, Railway Safety, and Quality standards. All about you We value passion and attitude over experience. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role: A Master’s degree with a qualification in Project Management. 5 years of experience as a sub-system/component manager, qualified project manager, or manager of an operational scope. Experience in managing multi-site and multi-functional teams. Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills. Good knowledge of project management processes and railway products/systems. Ability to manage customer relationships and external stakeholders effectively. Exposure to the rail signalling industry (preferred). Familiarity with Alstom’s way of working for efficient process execution (desirable).
