Closing date: Number of positions: 1 Recruiter name: Ruba Hijah Reference number: 72453 Mediclinic City Hospital | Dubai | United Arab Emirates MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB Responsible for performing routine polysomnograms for patients who have been diagnosed with a sleep and/or wake disorders KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS Performs polysomnography tests and record findings for further treatment plans Performs positive airway pressure titration studies and scores polysomnographic studies Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe patient care Monitors ongoing quality assurance for scoring polysomnographic competency of data acquisition Maintains equipment, including the set up and calibration of monitoring and related ancillary equipment REQUIRED EDUCATION Bachelor's degree in Neurophysiology or Physiology from an accredited institution Registration with Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists or equivalent REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Minimum two years current, post-registration experience in sleep studies in an acute-care/tertiary hospital REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Verbal and written communication skills in English Computer literacy (MS Office package) Comprehensive knowledge of patient safety standards All applicants will be considered, with the understanding that preference will be given to the designated groups in accordance with the United Arab Emirates Emiratization Program.
