The Administrative Assistant for the Creighton School of Medicine Department of Internal Medicine will provide day-to-day administrative and clerical support to the Department chairperson and faculty. They perform complex, advanced, diversified, and confidential administrative duties. Duties include calendaring, meeting/event planning and coordination, communication, coordinating and supporting departmental meetings and events (both face-to-face and virtual). Managing information on various web-based platforms, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files. Performs complex, advanced, diversified, and confidential administrative and operations support. A successful candidate will pay close attention to detail, meet time-sensitive deadlines, and collaborate in a team environment. Must be proactive, strategic, and organized with ability to balance a wide range of responsibilities in the support of their department while providing top-notch customer service.
• Work full-time at CUMC Bergan Mercy campus (72nd and Mercy Rd). • Monday through Friday day hours (somewhat flexible start/end times). One remote day after 90 days and training is complete. • Hourly pay range is between $21 to $25 per hour depending on skills, experience and background. Responsibilities
• Calendaring, meeting and event planning. • Coordinating and supporting departmental meetings and events (both on site and virtual). • Coordinate and collects required data for the faculty evaluation process for physicians. • Managing information on various web-based platforms. • Organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files. • Collaborates with a diverse group of internal and external teams. Requirements
• High School Diploma required. • 6 years of related experience required. Experience working in health care, health sciences, or higher education a plus. • Strong abilities with Outlook and/or different platforms including calendaring. • Must have a high level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
