Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort is seeking a friendly, attentive, and proactive Bellperson with a genuine passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. As a Bellperson, you’ll do more than assist with luggage—you’ll help create memorable stays by warmly welcoming guests, providing personalized service, assisting with transportation needs. You’ll help ensure every arrival, departure, and guest interaction reflects the light and warmth of Hilton hospitality. The ideal candidate for this role will possess:
• A warm, friendly, and professional demeanor with a genuine heart for hospitality and a commitment to creating exceptional guest experiences. • Open availability to work a flexibility schedule all shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. • Strong English communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with English-speaking guests and respond professionally to guest requests and inquiries. • The ability to safely assist guests with luggage and belongings, including lifting, carrying, and maneuvering luggage as needed. • A valid driver’s license and a safe driving record, with the ability to safely transport guests to and from the airport and other local destinations as needed. • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to remain professional and attentive in a fast-paced resort environment. • Previous hotel, bell, valet, or guest service experience is a PLUS! As a Bellperson/Porter, you’re not just assisting guests with transporting and storing luggage – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
• Welcome and assist guests: Greet and escort arriving and departing guests, transport luggage, and familiarize guests with their rooms and amenities • Handle luggage with care: Retrieve, transport, organize, and store guest luggage in accordance with hotel standards and procedures • Assist with guest transport: Operate property vehicles to transport guests to and from designated destinations • Maintain equipment standards: Keep bell carts and work areas clean and in good working order
