Senior Multimedia Specialist (26270141)

The University Engagement Office (UEO) is established with the primary objective of enhancing the University’s engagement with stakeholders of the community and strengthening its brand. The Office takes charge of engaging both internal and external stakeholders, managing university-wide events and marketing initiatives, and handling Chinese Mainland affairs.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute photo shooting, video filming, and live streaming for university events, including setup and operation of relevant equipment, ensuring high-quality production and reliable content delivery; • Execute and edit high-quality photo and video content for marketing use, including profiles, event coverage, and promotional materials; • Design compelling graphics, illustrations, and visual assets using the Adobe Creative Cloud suite; • Develop and produce professional marketing collateral for print and digital platforms, including branded materials, social media, web content, multimedia, and corporate presentations; • Analyse marketing data and metrics to optimise content performance and inform future strategies; • Collaborate cross-functionally with various Faculties/Schools/Departments; and • Perform any other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• A recognised degree in Digital Media, Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline; • At least 8 years of relevant work experience in multimedia content creation, including photography role; familiarity with the higher education sector is an advantage; • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects, as well as AI tools; • Proven photo shooting, video filming, editing, and motion graphics skills; • Familiarity with live streaming platforms and equipment; • Strong data analysis and problem-solving abilities; • Creative mindset with an eye for visual design; and • Excellent interpersonal, time management, organisational, and multitasking skills.

Applicants with less experience may be considered for appointment as Multimedia Specialist.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit a written test and an interview.

The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review and mutual agreement.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
