About this role
Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams; carries out established nursing procedures and performs related duties as required; performs nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision. Assists with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team.

Required Qualifications
• One year of recent adult RN experience (within the past 5 years) in a high-acuity, high volume, inpatient, surgical Pre-Op/PACU setting. • Two years of full-time adult ICU experience within the past 5 years • Requires On-Call commitment • Knowledge of airway management, anesthesia recovery, and pain management • Must be able to bend, pull and push up to 20lbs. • This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations. Preferred Qualifications
• CPAN or CCRN certification
• BSN REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
• Current healthcare provider CPR certification
• Current healthcare provider ACLS certification
• Current healthcare provider PALS certification
