Acts as a member of the healthcare team to perform delegated patient care duties in the department assigned.
• The Paramedic holds shift accountability for providing care to patients in accordance with recognized techniques, standards of practices and hospital policy and procedures. • Acts as a member of the healthcare team to perform delegated patient care duties in the department assigned. • Demonstrates ability to assist and care for others by providing personal assistance, medical attention, and/or emotional support to patients and family members. • Performs related duties as required.
• Required: • Education: Graduate of an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic training course. • Experience: Paramedic experience. • Licensure/Certifications: • Paramedic License • BLS • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire if not current • CPI required within 90 days of hire
• Preferred: • Experience: Experience in an emergency room.
