About the Role As a member of the site leadership team, you will play a key role in shaping the future capability of Matua Winery through reliability improvement, infrastructure development, utilities optimisation and strategic engineering projects that support long-term business growth. Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, you will lead a small team of maintenance professionals while overseeing contractors and service providers across the site. You will be accountable for delivering the site's maintenance and reliability strategy, driving asset performance, reducing downtime, improving planned maintenance outcomes and ensuring critical infrastructure and utilities remain fit for purpose. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence maintenance excellence, reliability improvement, site services performance and capital projects within a dynamic FMCG manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities

• Lead long-term infrastructure and capacity planning initiatives to support site growth, identify operational constraints and deliver engineering solutions that increase site capability and efficiency. • Partner with site leadership to identify, prioritise and remove production, infrastructure and utility constraints that impact throughput, efficiency and future growth. • Lead, coach and develop the maintenance and site services team, fostering a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement. • Deliver the Matua Winery Maintenance & Reliability Plan, improving asset availability, maintenance effectiveness and operational performance. • Drive planned maintenance compliance, reduce unplanned downtime and implement reliability-centred maintenance practices. • Manage site infrastructure, utilities, wastewater systems, grounds and related services to ensure safe, compliant and reliable operations. • Lead contractor management activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule and within budget. • Develop and lead site capital investment programmes, including business case development, project prioritisation, execution and commissioning of strategic infrastructure and reliability projects. • Provide technical leadership across automation, SCADA and MES-enabled manufacturing systems. • Manage maintenance budgets, inventory strategies and lifecycle asset planning to balance reliability, risk and cost. • Use performance data and reliability tools such as RCA, FMEA and criticality assessments to drive sustainable improvement outcomes. • Provide engineering leadership and technical support during vintage operations to maximise plant reliability and operational performance during critical production periods. • About You You are a hands-on engineering, reliability, infrastructure and site services leader with strong technical capability and a proven ability to lead teams in an asset-intensive manufacturing environment. You'll bring:

• Degree qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering, or a relevant trade qualification with significant leadership experience. • Demonstrated engineering leadership experience, with the ability to provide technical direction, solve complex operational problems and support strategic site development. • Experience developing infrastructure, utilities or capacity expansion strategies within a manufacturing environment. • Proven success leading capital programmes and major engineering projects. • Strong understanding of utilities engineering including refrigeration, compressed air, wastewater treatment and energy systems. • Experience applying asset lifecycle planning and long-term asset management strategies. • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and contribute to long-term operational strategy. • Extensive maintenance leadership experience within FMCG, food, beverage or similar manufacturing environments. • Proven success improving maintenance performance, reliability outcomes, OEE and equipment availability. • Strong knowledge of asset management, reliability engineering, RCA, FMEA, RCM and maintenance systems. • Experience working with SCADA and MES systems in a manufacturing setting. • Strong commercial acumen with responsibility for Opex and Capex budgets. • Excellent stakeholder engagement, contractor management and leadership capabilities. • A commitment to safety, quality, environmental compliance and operational excellence.
