In this role, you will help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life by delivering occupational therapy services in the comfort of their homes. What You'll Do
• Evaluate, plan, and provide occupational therapy services based on physician orders. • Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, Occupational Therapy Assistants, Home Health Aides, and interdisciplinary team members. • Develop individualized treatment plans designed to maximize patient function and independence. • Accurately document patient progress and maintain compliance with regulatory and agency standards. • Educate patients and families on treatment goals, adaptive techniques, and home safety. • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program. • Current South Carolina Occupational Therapy License. • BLS Certification (American Heart Association). • Minimum of six months of experience in home health or another healthcare setting preferred. • Valid South Carolina driver's license and automobile insurance. • Must meet McLeod Health driving eligibility requirements. • Strong communication, documentation, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
