Main duties of the job Were looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Senior Care Assistant - Nights at Avon Valley Care Home in Bristol. Your focus will be to support and work alongside our Care team to deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents and staff. Additional responsibilities include monitoring resident wellbeing, involvement in care planning, supporting residents with medication, conducting staff supervisions, and acting as a key contact point for residents and health care professionals. Candidates must have an NVQ 3 or equivalent, two years of experience in a similar care environment, effective communication skills, and a positive attitude. Other responsibilitieswillinclude:
Monitoringthe wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changeimpactingon care and care plans, ensuring that new needs aremet,and written records are amended to reflect any variation. Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations. Supporting residents with their medication requirements. Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required. Actingas a key point for contact with residents, theirrelativesand visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are actedupon,and concerns or complaints are escalated.
