Job summary
Rowhedge & University of Essex Medical Practice have an exciting new opportunity for a qualified part time dispenser to join our friendly and busy team working in our dispensary.
The role is for 20.5 hours per week working 4 days per week. The post holder may on occasion be required to provide extra dispensary cover during holiday or sickness.
Main duties of the job
Issue of repeats paper and EPS from online/email/ paper requests Monitoring of medication reviews Dealing with all patient enquiries and liaising with clinical team Preparing and dispensing medication NHS script and non NHS fees Endorsing prescriptions and preparing scripts for PPD submission Ordering, accepting deliveries and checking in of stock Cash up till Follow/monitor/write SOPs (Standard operating Procedures) in line with good practice and DSQS (Dispensing Services Quality Scheme) Deal with outside agencies and NEECCG representatives where appropriateInterviews will be carried out for successful applicants and we reserve the right to retract the advert if a suitable person is found before the end date.

Qualifications Essential
NVQ level 2 qualified in Dispensing
Experience Essential
Deal sensitively with any patient complaints Basic IT skills Organisational skills and the ability to work alone with confidence SystmOne experience is desirable however full training will be given
