SALARY RANGE: $82,000-$86,000/yr based on interview outcome and overall qualification

Position Summary

The People & Talent Partner serves as a trusted resource for employees and managers, providing responsive day-to-day HR support throughout the employee lifecycle. This role helps ensure core HR processes are administered accurately, consistently, and with a high level of service while creating a positive employee experience.

Working closely with the Human Resources Director and broader HR team, the People & Talent Partner supports HR operations, employee programs, benefits, onboarding and offboarding, recruiting, compliance, project management and other organizational needs. The ideal candidate is organized, resourceful, discreet, and comfortable taking ownership of a variety of responsibilities in a growing and evolving organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee & Manager Support

• Serve as a primary point of contact for employees and managers, providing timely, professional, and accurate guidance on HR policies, procedures, benefits, and routine HR matters.

• Help employees and managers navigate HR processes and identify when complex or sensitive matters should be escalated to the appropriate HR leader.

• Build positive working relationships across the organization and provide a responsive, approachable, and consistent HR experience.

• Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee information and workplace matters.

• Support managers with routine employee documentation, communications, and people-related processes, providing guidance and follow-through as needed.

HR Operations & Generalist Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR administration throughout the employee lifecycle, including new hires, onboarding, employee changes, transfers, promotions, and offboarding.

• Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, HRIS data, documentation, and required employment records.

• Support benefits and leave administration, including employee communications, annual enrollment activities, documentation, and coordination with vendors and internal stakeholders.

• Support recruiting and hiring activities, including job postings, interview coordination, candidate communication, pre-employment requirements, and new hire preparation.

• Coordinate recurring HR programs and processes, including performance management, employee engagement, training, compliance activities, audits, reporting, and required employee communications.

• Monitor HR workflows, deadlines, and outstanding actions to ensure processes are completed accurately and on time.

• Partner with the Human Resources Director on HR projects, organizational priorities, and the implementation or improvement of HR systems, policies, programs, and processes.

• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, documentation, reporting, and employee self-service resources, and take ownership of additional HR needs as the organization continues to grow.

• Partner across departments to coordinate HR-related needs, resolve day-to-day issues, and ensure people processes are carried out effectively.

Project Based Work:

• Cesco Solutions generates unique partnerships with new businesses. These partnerships require extensive support from the People & Talent Partner. This support includes but is not limited to:

• Recruitment, sourcing, hiring, and offboarding.

• Facilitating lodging and travel for employees who are required to work on-site for extended periods of time.

• Act as the primary contact of support on conflict resolution, mediation, and employee wellbeing.

• Work may occur outside of standard operating hours.

Basic Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in Human Resources or a related administrative role.

• 4+ years' experience with recruitment. Must be able to source, screen, and communicate effectively with candidates.

• Experience providing day-to-day HR support to employees and managers.

• Experience maintaining confidential employee records and HRIS data.

• Experience supporting employee onboarding, offboarding, benefits, and other employee lifecycle processes.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities, follow through on commitments, and meet deadlines.

• Ability to operate in ambiguous environments, seek context when needed, and must be able to communicate with a wide variety of individuals.

• Comfortable working independently while also knowing when to seek guidance or escalate an issue.

• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, engineering, environmental services, or related industries is preferred.

Licensing & Special Requirements:

• Incumbent is subject to a background check.

• Work is performed in an office setting. Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and move reasonably.
