Title: Mechanical Engineer

About the role:

We are looking for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer who will work closely with product, sourcing, manufacturing, and quality teams throughout the product development process, from concept and prototyping to testing and production.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the design and development of mechanical and hardware products

• Create and revise 2D/3D CAD models, technical drawings, and specifications

• Assist with product testing and validation

• Apply basic Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles

• Support material selection and evaluate manufacturing processes

• Identify and help resolve design, quality, and manufacturing issues

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and manufacturing partners

• Create and maintain engineering documentation, including BOMs and test reports

• Support tooling, sampling, and production readiness activities

• Review CAD files and engineering drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards.

• Perform detailed proof of checks of CAD drawings and models to verify dimensional accuracy and tolerances prior to tooling release, identifying discrepancies, and coordinating corrections with design engineers.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, product development, or manufacturing

• Proficiency or working knowledge of CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Onshape, or similar tools

• Basic understanding of materials, mechanical design, and manufacturing processes

• Familiarity with processes such as injection molding, tooling, machining, or assembly is an advantage

• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills

• Willingness and ability to work a fixed night shift following a hybrid work arrangement at Silver City, Pasig

• CAD & Documentation: Ability to create and interpret 2D/3D models, technical drawings, engineering proof of checks, and BOMs

• Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy and quality in designs and documentation

• Collaboration: Works effectively with product, sourcing, manufacturing, and supplier teams
