BI Case Coordinator

The Behavioral Interventionist (BI) Program provides intensive 1:1, trauma-informed support to help children and youth with behavioral and emotional challenges remain safely and successfully stable in their home. Using neuro-stimulating techniques and relationship-based interventions, the program supports healing from trauma while building emotional regulation, behavioral management, and family stability.

The BI Case Coordinator provides support, resources, and advocacy to families served while providing leadership and job coaching to direct care Behavioral Interventionists. This role works closely with caregivers, BI staff, program leadership, and community partners to promote quality services and positive outcomes for children and families.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's Degree preferred plus two years of experience working in nonprofit social service agencies in social work, psychology, public administration, or a related human services field and/or a minimum of three years' experience in previous leadership positions.

• Strong verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to write clearly and effectively.

• Adaptable and proactive self-starter with strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Demonstrated emotional intelligence, leadership, team management, and strong interpersonal skills.

• Maintain flexibility in work schedule, including availability for evenings and weekends as needed.

• Travel required within Kansas, Missouri and/or nationally with or without accommodation.
