About this role
AirX Jet Support is a UK CAA and EASA approved Maintenance Repair Organisation with approval to provide Line & Base Maintenance services on our parent company fleet of CL-600, EMB-135 and ERJ-190 series aircraft. We are now looking for a reliable and hands-on IT Support Officer to join its office-based team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in IT support who’s ready to grow in a fast paced, technical environment.
This role reports to the Chief Technology Officer and is based at the London Stansted Diamond Hangar facility working a Monday to Friday shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support for hardware and software issues.
• Install and configure operating systems, devices, and peripherals.
• Set up workstations and user accounts for new joiners.
• Assist with IT inventory management and procurement.
• Perform routine IT-related checks and procedures.
• Monitor and maintain WiFi access points, network infrastructure, and internet connectivity.
• Manage and support CCTV and access control systems.
• Provide IT support to staff, crew, and engineers on site.
Requirements
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar IT support or helpdesk role.
• Basic knowledge of Office 365 applications.
• Familiarity with Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft Intune, and TCP/IP networking.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage and prioritise issues effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and work collaboratively as part of a team.
• A valid and clean UK driving licence is preferred.
Education & Experience
• Diploma-level education in IT or industry certification (e.g. CompTIA A+), or equivalent hands-on experience.
