The role

The Student & Academic Administration Department is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Exams, Graduation and Awards Team based on the Stag Hill campus.

The Exams, Graduation and Awards team is a small but busy team who are responsible for the organisation of class tests and university exams, the organisation of the university’s graduation ceremonies and award related activities. As part of this team, you will have some responsibilities in all these key areas of activity.

You will work closely with your Line Manager, and academic and administrative staff across the central and Faculty services, in order to deliver a high quality and efficient service across a range of Exams, Graduation and Award tasks.

About you

The successful candidate will need to be able to:

demonstrate the ability to multitask communicate effectively to different audiences work to a high level of accuracy work under pressure to tight deadlines demonstrate flexibility think on your feet and make quick decisions

The role will require excellent interpersonal and organisational ability. You will need to be adaptable to different situations and should be well organised and methodical in your approach.

Relevant administrative experience would be a distinct advantage. Excellent IT skills, particularly in MS Office packages, and familiarity with databases would be beneficial. Accuracy and attention to detail and a proactive approach to different groups of customers is essential.
