About this role

The Role

Join Kingston University as an Events Coordinator and help deliver a diverse and exciting programme of events that support students throughout their journey, from Open Days and Offer Holder Events to Graduation ceremonies. Working within a friendly and collaborative team, you will play a key role in creating memorable experiences that showcase the very best of the University.

You will coordinate all aspects of event delivery, including planning and logistics, stakeholder and supplier liaison, event communications, and on-the-day operations. This is a varied and fast-paced role where no two days are the same, offering the opportunity to work with colleagues across the University and contribute to events that have a meaningful impact on prospective students, students and visitors.

The Person

We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic and proactive individual with experience of coordinating events, projects or similar activities in a busy environment. You will enjoy managing multiple priorities, building positive relationships with a range of stakeholders and delivering excellent customer service.

You will have strong organisational, administrative and communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Adaptable and solutions-focused, you will be confident using your initiative and responding effectively to changing priorities.

Most importantly, you will bring creativity and a commitment to continuous improvement, alongside a passion for creating engaging experiences and delivering high-quality events. Flexibility is essential, as some evening and weekend working is required to support key events throughout the year.
