Job Description: Performs a full range of responsibilities related to patient access and visit coordination, including reception, registration, appointment scheduling, charge capture and entry, medical records management, and telephone support. Ensures the accurate and timely collection, documentation, and entry of patient information into hospital information systems. Provides expertise in specialized functions such as billing, coding, and complex scheduling while monitoring workflows to ensure services are delivered accurately, efficiently, and with a strong focus on customer service. May coordinate the work of Patient Registration Associates (PRAs) and other support staff, as well as assist with onboarding, training, and mentoring less experienced team members to promote operational excellence and a positive patient experience. Salary Range: $19.50- $25.54 an hour
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Job Requirements: Education: High school diploma or GED; or equivalent experience. Experience: Two (2) years previous office experience preferred; medical office experience preferred. License/Certification Required: n/a Skills: Ability to use various hospital information systems (which may include MagView, eRecord, eView, etc.); Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel experience is highly recommended; ICD10/CPT coding is desirable.
