Transformation Lead - Supply Chain
Job Description: We are Infosys Romania.
We offer business consulting, technology and engineering solutions and end-to-end transformative business process management services to some of the world’s most iconic brands. As part of a large‑scale global transformation, a world‑leading FMCG company has partnered with Infosys to redesign and elevate its Global Business Services (GBS) to world‑class standards. To support this journey, we are seeking an Transformation Lead. The Transformation Lead is a key driver of our functional transformation agenda, responsible for overseeing transfer of activities from a company to a new GBS field.
Your tasks in detail: • The role ensures that scope intake, process design, and TSA exit activities are delivered on time, in full and with clear alignment across all stakeholders. • Working alongside the Functional Solution Leader, the Transformation Lead turns strategic direction into a practical, sequenced transition roadmap - ensuring readiness criteria are met, dependencies are understood and every stakeholder knows what needs to happen and when. This includes running structured scope assessments, supporting future-state design with GPOs, and bringing together functional teams, BUs, GBS operations, technology partners, and the 3PSP around one integrated plan that brings together the process, business and key technical aspects of ERP system implementation (part of OPUS). • The role is a central coordination point for the GBS function, providing program leadership, transparent communication, and proactive risk management. It maintains clarity on priorities, drives governance routines, and ensures timely, high-quality documentation-from process maps and SOPs to SLAs, controls, and cutover plans. • The Transformation Lead also plays a critical role in TSA exit execution, coordinating readiness, facilitating cutover and hypercare, and ensuring a smooth transition into stable operations. This requires close collaboration with GPOs and SMEs to confirm that process standards, documentation, roles, and handoffs are fully established before go-live. • In short, this role exists to make functional transformation executable-aligning people, processes, and partners to deliver a high-quality transition on time, with minimal risk and maximum value for the organization. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Build, maintain, and drive the integrated transformation plan for the function incl. TSA exit planning. • Lead governance and communication routines with clear decision-making, escalations and transparent progress visibility. • Track progress, benefits, risks, and budget adherence; provide concise, executive-ready reporting in line with overall GBS governance structure. • Support the Functional Solution Leader in defining the intake strategy, sequencing, and prioritization. • Coordinate scope assessments with functional teams and BUs (volumes, process maturity, controls, tech dependencies etc.). • Manage readiness criteria to ensure smooth onboarding of scope into GBS/3PSP. • Serve as a central coordination point across BUs, Functions, GPOs, GBS Ops, Technology (OPUS) and the 3PSP. Ensure all stakeholders remain aligned on priorities, timelines, and outstanding decisions. • Ensure all required transformation related documentation is created, updated, and approved - maintaining a structured repository with version control and audit readiness. • Drive TSA exit planning and execution for the function – leading cross-functional readiness assessments and ensuring all pre‑go‑live criteria are met. • Run fit–gap analysis with GPOs and SMEs to align existing processes with future-state processes standards and 3PSP capabilities. • Facilitate value stream mapping (VSM) workshops to define future-state workflows, handoffs, controls, and roles.
Key performance indicators • ≥ 95% of TSA exit milestones delivered on time. • ≥ 90% of scoped processes transitioned per agreed timeline and budget. • RAID items resolved within agreed SLAs; critical issues escalated proactively.
